About Consistent Character
For picture books, comics and brand mascots the hard part is not drawing well, it is that every image has to be the same person. The method: settle on a base image, add 2–4 more angles as references, and use Identity Lock to say which traits are fixed.
Default pipeline
This is not the general generator with a new title — it has its own chain and output spec:
- Upload or generate a base image
- Add 2–4 more angles
- Lock identity features
- Generate new scenes
- Export the character set
How to Use Consistent Character
- Upload or generate a base character image.
- Add 2–4 references from other angles.
- Set Identity Lock.
- Describe the new scene and generate.
- Feed the best results back into the reference set — consistency improves as it grows.
Supported models
There is no Auto option for this task — pick a model explicitly.

When the recommended model is unavailable, the page asks you to confirm a switch. It never substitutes silently.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many references do I need?+
Two works; four is noticeably more stable, especially across angles.
Does changing clothes change the face?+
Set Identity Lock to Face only so the outfit can vary while the face stays put.
Image handling and privacy
This is an AI tool: images you upload are sent to the selected model provider for processing, not handled locally in the browser. Each model page states that provider's retention policy, and you can delete any generation from your history at any time.
