About Object Cutout
Different from background removal: that keeps the main subject, while this pulls out any object you name — the red chair in a meeting room photo, for instance.
Default pipeline
This is not the general generator with a new title — it has its own chain and output spec:
- Upload an image
- Name the object
- Locate and segment
- Refine edges
- Export transparent PNG
How to Use Object Cutout
- Upload the image.
- Describe the object to extract.
- Check the edges in the result.
Supported models
There is no Auto option for this task — pick a model explicitly.
| Model | Provider | Speed | Max output | Credits | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| BiRefNet v2 | Open Source | Fast | Source size | From 1 | Active |
| Bria RMBG 2 | Bria | Fastest | Source size | From 1 | Active |
| Nano Banana 2 | Fast | 4K | From 2 | Active |
When the recommended model is unavailable, the page asks you to confirm a switch. It never substitutes silently.
Output spec
- Format: PNG with alpha channel
- Notes: Optional crop to the object bounds
- Failed generations cost 0 credits
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I extract several objects at once?+
One per run for now; process multiple objects in separate passes.
Image handling and privacy
This is an AI tool: images you upload are sent to the selected model provider for processing, not handled locally in the browser. Each model page states that provider's retention policy, and you can delete any generation from your history at any time.
